Interpretation and Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

  • User: Any person or company that uses the Sthoa Labs platform.
  • Platform: The website and services provided by Sthoa Labs for AI video production.
  • User Data: Information provided by the user, including prompts, uploaded images, and usage logs.
  • Content: Videos, images, audio, and text generated by the User using the Platform.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sthoa Labs! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree, we recommend that you do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

The User agrees to:

  • Use the platform only for legal purposes and in accordance with applicable regulations;
  • Provide correct and updated information when registering;
  • Not reverse engineer, copy, or distribute parts of the platform without authorization;
  • Not use the platform to generate harmful, illegal, or prohibited content.

3. Registration and Access

To access certain features, the User must create an account, providing accurate data. Sthoa Labs may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Sthoa Labs collects and processes User Data as described in our Privacy Policy. The User has the right to access, correct, or delete their data upon request.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the platform — including software, design, and trademarks — belong to Sthoa Labs. The User retains ownership of the Content generated, subject to the terms of the underlying AI models.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation and Account Termination

The User can terminate their account at any time. Sthoa Labs may suspend or terminate accounts in case of violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

Limitation of Liability

Sthoa Labs is not responsible for:

  • Damages resulting from improper use of the platform;
  • Errors or delays caused by external factors, such as internet connection failures or AI model downtime;
  • Content generated by the User that may infringe on third-party rights or violate local laws.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the Service.

Governing Law

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and Waiver

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not effect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
